Azerbaijan sent 488 tons of grain to Armenia

A freight train carrying Russian grain to Armenia departed today from the Bilajari railway station in Baku.

Axar.az informs that the total cargo weight is 488 tons.

The seven-car train will transit through Georgia on its way to Armenia.

The last time a train carrying Russian grain to Armenia passed through Azerbaijan was on March 11, with 11 wagons transporting a total of 1,023 tons.

So far, more than 23,000 tons of grain and over 700 tons of fertilizer have been sent from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan.
