Dmitry Peskov comments on AZAL crash statement

Russia’s Foreign Ministry has issued a comprehensive statement on resolving the consequences of the AZAL aircraft crash with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az repоrts, citing TASS, that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said there is nothing to add to it.

“Regarding yesterday’s statement by our Foreign Ministry, everything was said in sufficient detail. There is nothing really to add here,” he said at a briefing.

He also noted that Russia’s diplomatic service is closely monitoring the situation to protect the interests of Russian citizens who remain in custody in Azerbaijan.
