3.3 magnitude earthquake hits Caspian Sea

A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az informs, citing the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center, the tremor was registered at 14:07 local time.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers.

It should be noted that increased seismic activity has been observed in the Caspian Sea in recent weeks. A total of 16 earthquakes have been recorded in the area in April.
