The U.S. Embassy has thanked Azerbaijan for illuminating the Heydar Aliyev Center in the red, white, and blue colors of the U.S. flag to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence.

Axar.az reports that the embassy shared the message on its X account.

"Today, we were deeply moved to see the Heydar Aliyev Center lit up in the red, white and blue colors of the American flag, in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

This image serves as a beautiful commemoration of over thirty years of U.S.-Azerbaijan friendship, and a reminder of the progress that we have achieved together since August 8," the statement reads.
