Ship carrying 15 Azerbaijani hit by drone in Black Sea

A drone attack targeted a ship carrying Azerbaijani nationals in the Black Sea.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Seafarers Support Public Union announced this.

The incident occurred on August 25. The STAR-2, a dry cargo vessel flying the Liberian flag and owned by the company “Statu Shipping,” came under a drone attack while leaving the port of Tuapse.

According to the report, there were 15 Azerbaijani and four Turkish seafarers on board. No injuries were reported as a result of the attack.
