Palmali Group of Companies, New Age Media Group and Istanbul University Azerbaijan Culture and Solidarity Association summed up the results of the campaign.
Axar.az informs that, the Organizing Committee of the International Social Media Campaign "Share for Khojaly", announced that within the 24 hours from the start of the Campaign, 51,000 322 tweets have been shared by social network users.
The number of campaigners on Twitter was 55 million 570 thousand 492.
The campaign, went into the "Top Trend", and took 12 hours on the Turkish Twitter agenda. The results of this campaign are records among the Khojaly genocide campaigns in the history of Twitter.
It should be noted that the International Social Media Campaign "Share for Khojaly" started with an event organized on February 26 at the University of Istanbul. The memory of victims of the Khojaly genocide was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Saffet Sancak, MP Sona Aliyeva, vice-rector of Istanbul University prof. dr Sedat Murat, President of Palmali Group of Companies Mubariz Mansimov, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of Silk Way Seyfullah Turksoy, Head of New Age Media Group Agil Alasgar, well-known Turkish artists Hülya Avşar, Ahmet Şafak, Ercan Saatçı and others have participated in event.
Co-ordinators Aqil Alasgar, Nihad Allahyarli and Rashid Mustafa zadə and volunteers worked extensively on social networks during the "Share for Khojaly" International Social Media Campaign,.
Volunteers specializing in the International Social Media Campaign "Share for Khojaly" and social media trained volunteers throughout the day demonstrated their high activity in bringing Karabakh realities to the world, including the Khojaly genocide.
Hundreds of well-known public and political figures, authors, scientists, workers and artists from Turkey have contributed to the promotion of the Khojaly genocide by participating in the campaign.
Celebrities such as Sibel Can, Mahsun Kırmızıgül, Kubat, Hadise and Hakan Mengec have supported the idea of "Share for Khojaly" not only on Twitter, but also on social networks Instagram and Facebook.
Moreover, on the initiative of Palmali, the most important 600 points of Istanbul were hanging at the billboards and calling on people to share "for Khojaly". Those billboards will decorate Istanbul's streets until the first ten days of March.
