On January 1, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov called President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Axar.az reports that the delivery of Azerbaijani gas to Bulgaria under the TAP project is an important event, Boyko Borisov stressed that it is highly appreciated.

During the telephone conversation, they noted the progress in expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in political, economic, energy, transport and cultural spheres, and expressed confidence in the continuation of friendly relations and strategic partnership.

Boyko Borisov invited the President of Azerbaijan to visit his country. The President of Azerbaijan accepted the invitation with gratitude.

During the telephone conversation, President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Boyko Borisov also congratulated each other on the New Year and wished them good health and success in their activities.
