Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Turkish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Birol Akgun.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Press Service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Prime Minister A. Asadov congratulated B. Akgun on the start of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan and wished him success in his future activities.

The meeting highlighted with satisfaction that Azerbaijani-Turkish relations have reached the highest level of alliance and strategic partnership through the joint efforts of the heads of state.

The prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields were discussed.
