The Minister of State for European Neighborhood and American Affairs Wendy Morton, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Heydar Aliyev Center on February 9. Director of the Heydar Aliyev Center Anar Alakbarov informed the guest about the activities of the Center.
Axar.az reports that it was noted that the activities of the Center are aimed at in-depth study and research of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev's philosophy of statehood, Azerbaijani ideology, the legacy of the Great Leader.
In addition, the Center implements projects aimed at popularizing and promoting the history, language, culture, and other national treasures of the Azerbaijani people in the international arena, supporting and developing science, education, culture, health, sports, ecology, and various sectors of the economy.
The guest was also informed about the activities of the Heydar Aliyev Museum at the Center. It was noted that the museum, which reflects various aspects of the life and activity of the Great Leader, contains photographs, documents, and items belonging to him, as well as cars used at the time.
The British Minister of State also got acquainted with the "Pearls of Azerbaijan" exhibition at the Center.
Ms. Wendy Morton also visited the exhibitions "Musical Instruments: Unity and Diversity" and "Doll Art".
During the acquaintance with the exhibition "Masterpieces of History", the exhibits reflecting the history of Azerbaijan aroused special interest of the guest.
