Turkiye welcomes ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made this statement during the trilateral summit with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Turkish President emphasized that, if necessary, they are ready to mediate the normalization of relations between Pakistan and India.

Speaking further about trilateral cooperation (Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Pakistan), Erdogan announced that meetings among the foreign ministers would be intensified to further develop these ties.

“As Turkiye, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan, we will continue holding regular trilateral summits and ministerial meetings to further strengthen our relations. We will also jointly contribute to cooperation in the fields of defense and transportation,” he said.
