European Union unveils new strategy for Black Sea region.

Axar.az reports that the European Commission has announced a new strategy aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the Black Sea region and enhancing cooperation with regional countries.

As part of the new strategy, the EU plans to expand cooperation with Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Turkiye, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. The EU intends to strengthen ties in the areas of energy, transport, trade, and digital development, invest in infrastructure projects, and boost economic collaboration with these countries.

“Some of these countries have chosen the path of EU membership or closer ties with the EU. The new strategy is designed to bring tangible benefits for both the EU and its partner countries in the Black Sea region,” the statement noted.
