Armenian media reported on the demolition of the statue of fascist Garegin Nzhdeh in the Karabakh city of Khojavend.

Axar.az reports citing Armenian media that the statue has already been dismantled.

"Nzhdeh`s monument was demolished at the request of Azerbaijanis and taken to the History Museum," said Sofia Ovsepyan, a member of the Armenian parliament.

Armenian journalist Nairi Ohikyan posted a photo of the fascist monument on his Facebook account and said that talks were underway.

"Azerbaijan demands the demolition of our monument, and Russian peacekeepers do not want to take responsibility. Although the issue is discussed only in the cabinets, it is clear that Azerbaijan will achieve what it wants, because there is no adequate response from Armenia."
