Zakir Hasanov condoles Pakistan over Taliban attack

Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has expressed his condolences to General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

"I am deeply saddened by the news of the martyrdom and injury of a group of Pakistani Armed Forces soldiers as a result of a treacherous attack by terrorists in the northwestern region of Pakistan. We pray for the mercy of those who died, share the grief of their relatives, express our deep condolences to their families, and ask God for patience. We wish the injured a speedy recovery," the condolence message said.

It should be noted that at least 12 Pakistani security personnel were killed in an ambush set up by militants of the "Tehreki Talibani Pakistan" (Taliban Pakistan Movement) group in northwestern Pakistan.
