Turkiye-Armenia normalization will begin as soon as the Armenia-Azerbaijan agreement is finalized.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this during a conference at the Institute of International Relations in Rome.

He expressed his appreciation for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's historic risk for peace with Azerbaijan.

Fidan also thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his Azerbaijani colleagues for this process, and noted that US President Donald Trump has also strengthened the historic agreement in Washington.

Fidan said that they expect the final signatures on the peace agreement to be signed in the first half of next year.
