What kind of mines did Armenians bury in Karabakh?

Types of mines buried by Armenians in the liberated territories have been announced.

Axar.az reports that chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov said that plastic mines were more common among the mines found.

"Most of the anti-personnel mines produced by the enemy are PMN-G, as well as PMN-2, PMD-6, PMP mines, and anti-tank mines are mainly TM-57, TM-62M, TM-62P, TM-62P2, TM-62P3. At the same time, the enemy has set up numerous traps and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) against the population and the army," he said.

It should be noted that a total of 20,771 hectares of land was cleared of mines in 2021, 52,386 mines and unexploded ordnance were found and neutralized.
