Ukraine strikes Russian helicopter in Sea of Azov

The Ukrainian military reported striking a Russian helicopter over the Sea of Azov and a railway bridge in the eastern Luhansk region on Saturday, July 4.

Axar.az reports, citing The Kyiv Post, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the extent of the damage to the helicopter is currently being assessed. The military did not specify the model of the helicopter involved or provide information regarding the status of its crew.

In a separate operation, the General Staff reported a strike on a railway bridge crossing the Siverskyi Donets River near the settlement of Stanytsia Luhanska.

According to the statement, Russian forces utilize the bridge to transport military personnel, weapons, ammunition, and logistical supplies.
