Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a recent conversation with Karabakh separatist leader Araik Harutyunyan that the Yerevan authorities see Karabakh as a part of Azerbaijan and promised that the Western Karabakh Armenians would get a certain "status" within Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that "Haggın.az" published information about this with reference to the Armenian media.

"Pashinyan said that Yerevan allocated money to the Karabakh separatists and not to expect anything more from Armenia. He called Arutyunyan to a mutual understanding with Baku and integration into Azerbaijan. Arutyunyan objected to this approach, and tension arose between them during the conversation. The conversation continued in high tones," the report said.
