The Kalbajar-Lachin road is being reconstructed and many tunnels will be built in the region.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this while receiving Masim Mammadov in connection with the appointment of the President's special representative in the Lachin district, which is included in the Eastern Zangezur economic district.

The head of our state said:

"We have the most tunnels in Kalbajar and Lachin regions, and the length of the tunnel passing under Murov mountain will be about 12 kilometers. Thus, we open the road from the Goygol district to Eastern Zangezur. At the same time, the Gubadli-Lachin road is being built rapidly."
