Two villages of Zangilan remained under the reservoir -

The territory of the Khudafarin reservoir has been expanded, and two villages of Zangilan, which once existed, have now been destroyed and wiped out from the earth.

Axar.az reports that journalist Elmeddin Muradli shared information and photos about this.

He said that the expanded reservoir is now fully filled with water from the Araz River:

"Most likely, some of our villages will not be resettled in their previous places. Instead, we will have plenty of water and energy. Khudafarin can be turned into a good tourist zone."
