Nar, Azerbaijan’s most affordable mobile operator, supported international environmental training for journalists as part of its commitment to social responsibility principles and on the eve of COP29. Organized by the “Azerbaijan Journalists' Network”, this training brought together local professional journalists to prepare for the COP29 conference.

Axar.az reports that the training was led by Tais Gadea Lara, a climate expert with international experience and a regular participant in COP conferences. She shared her knowledge and experience gained from participating in numerous international climate events, presenting journalists with methods for collecting information and conducting research on environmental topics.

The professional trainer provided media representatives with comprehensive insights on global warming, the development of effective climate change initiatives, and the importance of proper budgeting for these projects. Journalists gained new knowledge and professional approaches for covering climate change topics in the media.

By supporting this project, Nar contributes to raising environmental awareness and strengthening the media's role in addressing climate change. The project also reflects Nar's commitment to its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and its support for COP29 objectives.

Nar currently provides high-quality communication services to 2.2 million subscribers.
