The COP29 venue, Baku Olympic Stadium, has been handed over to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) by COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

It was mentioned in the information that the Blue Zone, located at the venue of the COP29 conference, which will be held in Baku on November 11-22 this year, was officially successfully handed over to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) by the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

Thus, by handing over the Blue Zone to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company concluded an important operational phase. Appropriate conditions have been created here to ensure the comfort of the delegations at the event venue. In the Blue Zone there are approximately 39 pedestrian checkpoints, 35 registration desks for accreditation, three special assistance desks related to accessibility, as well as 9 additional and 5 special event rooms, as well as 132 offices for delegations. There are also various catering areas where various food and drinks are offered for the delegates.

The Zone in question is an official conference and negotiation venue governed by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). During COP29, all sessions, meetings, additional events and press conferences will be held in the Blue Zone. Only participants accredited by the UNFCCC will be admitted to the Blue Zone.

During the conference, special route buses of the conference will operate between the main transport hubs and Baku Olympic Stadium every day from 07:00 in the morning to 22:00 in the evening. In addition, a limited number of route buses will continue to provide service for people remaining in the stadium after 22:00.

It should be noted that the guests of COP29 will be able to plan their journey to Baku Stadium online using the Digital Transport Map, which has just been launched and includes information about transportation hubs located in strategic positions, as well as the venue and zones of the event, as well as accommodation.
