Service by border guards was organized at a high level in 4 villages of Gazakh region that were freed from occupation.
Axar.az reports that Lieutenant Colonel Elnur Abdullayev, a military officer of the Border Troops Command of the State Border Service (SBS) said.
He said that the Border Troops of the State Border Service also play a major role in the protection of nature reserves and historical monuments located in the service area:
"On April 19, 2024, as a result of Mr. President's successful policy, 4 occupied villages of Gazakh region (Ashagi Eskipara, Baganis Ayrim, Kheyrimli, Gizilhajili) were freed from occupation.
At present, the service by the border guards in these villages is organized at a high level.
Along with the protection and defense of our state border, the Border Troops Service of the State Border Service also prevents illegal hunting in the territory, and plays a major role in the protection of nature reserves, historical monuments and forest strips located here.
He noted that the Avey Temple reserve is protected by the Ministry of Culture and the Border troops of the State Border Service:
"The Avey Temple reserve was built in the 7th century. It is currently located in the territory of Dashsalahli village of Gazakh region. It is protected by the Ministry of Culture and the Border Troops Command. Its protection, inspection and care is carried out by the reserve staff with the relevant regime and maintenance documents issued by the Border Troops."
