The Kremlin sacrifices Kadyrov for Baku

Russia wants to sacrifice Ramzan Kadyrov to avoid conflicts with Azerbaijan and other partners.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by the "Kremlevskaya Tabakerka" Telegram channel, citing a source in the Russian Presidential Administration.

According to the source, Vladimir Putin will be proposed to "exemplarily" punish Ramzan Kadyrov by sending him into resignation for the downing of an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane in Chechnya. This initiative is being put forward by a group of influential people in the Kremlin.

"Kadyrov has caused chaos in Chechnya. The malfunctioning of the air defense system and the attack on the passenger plane are the result of overall confusion. Therefore, he should be removed from his position and forced to pay compensation to the families of the deceased passengers. And Kadyrov should be forgotten. I hope our Azerbaijani partners will be satisfied with such a sacrifice. Other partners will understand that we are reliable and will not dispute with us. I believe this is much more important than Kadyrov's individual fate," said a source close to Sergey Kiriyenko, Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration.

It was noted that Putin will receive this proposal soon.

The channel also reported that Kadyrov believes the plane crash was deliberately staged to undermine his position. He claims that the air defense system deliberately shot down the plane to harm him.

Sources close to Kadyrov stated that he is ready to take serious steps in the current situation.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane, operating the Baku-Grozny flight, crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25. The plane was shot down by Russian air defense forces over the Grozny airspace, and after sustaining significant damage, it crashed.
