After the publication of the decree on the liquidation of "Nagorno-Karabakh", this issue was removed from the agenda of normalization of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Axar.az reports that the Armenian Foreign Ministry stated this in response to a question from the Armenian service of Radio Liberty.
"We have repeatedly stated in the past that in our negotiations with Azerbaijan, Armenia is trying to ensure the security and rights of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, including the creation of an international mechanism for resolving these issues.
After the publication of the decree on the "forced resettlement" of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh (the Armenians moved voluntarily, because they did not accept Azerbaijani citizenship, and there are videos, photos and evidence confirming this - ed.) and the liquidation of Nagorno-Karabakh, this issue was removed from the agenda of regulation of interstate relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan," the ministry emphasized.
It should be noted that President Ilham Aliyev stated at a press conference in Baku with German President Steinmeier that Armenia had tried to include this issue in a peace agreement, and only abandoned this absurd claim after the anti-terrorist operation.
