The following tasks were carried out at the international search and rescue exercise "Anatolian Phoenix - 2025" held in Konya, Turkiye.
Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that first, by the plan of the exercise, the participants were given a briefing on safety rules, specification of the tasks to be performed on the map, and the sequence of their execution, the relief and climate of the area where the search and rescue measures will be taken.
According to the plan, parachute training and search and rescue activities were successfully carried out.
The main goal of the implementation of the tasks set in the exercise is to improve the skills of personnel in using parachutes, further increase their level of combat and special training, as well as ensure mutual understanding and exchange of experience between the military personnel of the participating countries.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Air Force pilots, parachute and search and rescue service specialists, technical staff, and aviation vehicles represent our country in the international search and rescue exercise.
