The "ceasefire - we'll see later" approach to resolving the conflict with Ukraine is no longer valid.

Axar.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this during his speech at the Russian-Armenian University.

Lavrov recalled the Russian-Ukrainian talks that took place in Istanbul in 2022:

"We agreed with them. Both we and the Ukrainians initialed those principles. But later, the West banned signing an agreement based on these principles. Now they are telling us, "let's have a ceasefire - we'll see later." No, friends! We have already experienced this scenario, we don't want it again. Macrons, Starmers, von der Leyens and other European figures, who are now hysterically demanding that the US step up its actions against Russia and increase sanctions, this behavior simply reveals their true colors."
