Human-like bone fragments found in Aghdam

An investigation is underway into the discovery of bone fragments resembling a human skeleton in Aghdam.

Axar.az reports the Prosecutor General’s Office released a statement on the matter.

It was noted that on May 25, the Aghdam district prosecutor’s office received information about the discovery of bone fragments, possibly human, in the village of Sirkhavand in the Aghdam district.

Immediately, prosecutors, along with a forensic expert and a specialist, conducted an on-site inspection. During the inspection, the found bone remains were properly collected for expert and laboratory examination. Other necessary procedural actions were also carried out.

An investigation is ongoing at the Aghdam District Prosecutor’s Office regarding this case.
