There have been no reports to hotlines of any Azerbaijani citizens being among the victims of Israel’s attack on Iran.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Aykhan Hajizada, spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Israel carried out Operation Rising Lion against Iran on the morning of June 13. As a result of the attack, the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, and several nuclear scientists were killed.
