On June 13, the First Congress of Oncologists of the Union of Turkic-Speaking States commenced in Baku.
Axar.az reports organized by the National Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, the event aims to strengthen scientific cooperation between oncologists from Turkic-speaking countries.
Academician Jamil Aliyev, Director General of Azerbaijan’s National Center of Oncology, officially opened the event.
The two-day Congress brings together scientists, experts, and officials from 10 countries around the world, as well as local and international organizations.
Additionally, the Congress, marking the first event of its kind to take place in Azerbaijan, will include the signing of a memorandum on scientific cooperation in the field of oncology among Turkic-speaking states.
The event will wrap up on June 14.
