Our armed forces will take tough steps and make the evil-minded Israeli presence miserable.

Axar.az reports that these words were made by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, in his evening address to the nation.

He noted that he had given the "green light" to the Iranian armed forces to respond to Israel:

"Iran's response will be adequate in a very short time, without any delay. New realities and a new stage have already begun in the region. Iran simply has no room left to retreat.

Today is both a difficult and glorious day in Iran's history. We commemorate all our martyrs with respect and will not leave their blood on the ground."

It should be noted that the Israeli Air Force launched strikes on Iran's nuclear and military bases early in the morning of June 13.
