Radiological and chemical contamination has been detected inside the nuclear facilities in Natanz, Iran.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, during an emergency UN session held at Tehran’s request.

According to him, the radiological and chemical contamination at the nuclear facilities in Natanz, Iran, can be kept under control through radiation protection measures.

“The IAEA is ready to send experts to Iran to ensure the full protection of nuclear facilities and to maintain their use for peaceful purposes. Nuclear facilities must never be subjected to attacks,” Grossi said.
