The U20 European Wrestling Championships are continuing in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.

Axar.az reports that three members of Azerbaijan's Greco-Roman wrestling team reached the podium on the second day of competition.

Emin Javadli (55 kg) was crowned European champion after defeating Armenia's Edgar Petrosyan by fall in the final.

Javidan Nehmatov (77 kg) claimed silver after losing 0-4 to Armenia's Samvel Terteryan in the final, while Orkhan Hajiyev (87 kg) also took silver following a 0-10 defeat to Russia's Mikhail Shkarin in the title bout.

Meanwhile, Museyi-Kazim Huseyn (130 kg) narrowly missed out on a medal, losing 1-1 to Turkiye's Uzeyir Bostan in the bronze medal match on criteria (first point scored).
