The Armenian boxer refused to fight with our athlete

Armenian athlete Armen Gushchiyan refused to fight with his Azerbaijani opponent in the international boxing tournament held in Keltse, Poland.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the Boxing Federation, for this reason, our representative Masud Yusifzadeh (51 kg) advanced to the semi-finals without a fight.

Yusifzade will face Hungarian Istvan Gerzenny on the way to the final. This fight will take place on November 12.

On the second day of the competition in which 16 countries participated, 2 more members of the Azerbaijan national team joined the fight.
