4 Turkish wrestlers died as a result of the earthquake.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Wrestling Federation has released information about this.

It was reported that due to the collapse of the building where the athletes were staying in Kahramanmaras, 8 wrestlers were rescued alive from under the debris, but the dead bodies of 4 people were found. These are Ahmet Tash, Mehmet Eskisarılı, Ali Gursoy and Aslan Ekiz.

There is no information about the 4 other wrestlers yet. Rescue operations are ongoing in the area.

It should be noted that according to the latest information, 12,873 people died and 62,937 were injured as a result of the earthquake that occurred in Turkiye.
