The results of the performance of the Kyrgyz team at the Olympic Games in Paris were very successful for the republic.

Axar.az reports that the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, said this at a meeting with athletes.

"The Paris Olympics was the most successful and productive in the history of our country. 6 out of 16 of our athletes returned home with awards, according to the ratio of the number of medals to the number of participants, Kyrgyzstan took the first place among 206 countries. 16 athletes participated in the Kyrgyz team at the Olympics, and we are in 68th place in the overall medal ranking. Considering that we took 15th place among the 44 participating countries in Asia, this result is a source of special pride for us," said Japarov.
