Di Maria returns to Rosario Central

Argentine club Rosario Central has officially announced the transfer of right-winger Angel Di Maria.

Axar.az reports that the club held a press conference on the occasion of the player's return.

It should be noted that Di Maria is a graduate of the club's academy. He played for the main team of Rosario Central in 2006-2007. During this time, he played 39 games, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.

The 37-year-old striker most recently played for Portuguese club Benfica. He scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists in 25 games in the Portuguese League in the 2023/2024 season.
