Azerbaijan national team member Mahir Emreli has started training with his new club "Nürnberg."

Axar.az reports that the German club's official website released this information.

The 27-year-old forward participated in his first team training session and later took part in a scrimmage.

The head coach of the 2nd Bundesliga team, Miroslav Klose, expressed his happiness about the players who have joined the team:

"I am very pleased Mahir is now participating in the team's training. Benni Goller has fully integrated into the squad. Benjamin will play in the friendly match against 'Aue.' It’s still too early for Mahir to play."

It should be noted that M. Emreli signed a one-year contract with "Nürnberg" in August.
