President at the shrine of Pir Omar Sultan -

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Pir Omar Sultan shrine in Shamakhi on May 25.

Axar.az informs that, at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, it is planned to turn the area into an archeological park by carrying out the necessary conservation and restoration work.

In order to conduct continuous and effective research, to protect the shrine from natural and anthropogenic influences, the roof of the monument was covered with light structures.
