Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has left for Nakhchivan.
Axar.az reports that the head of state was sent off from the airport by officials.
The visit is carried out at the invitation of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
According to information, the heads of state will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Igdir-Nakhchivan Natural Gas Pipeline and will open the modernized Nakhchivan Military Complex.
In addition, the leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkiye will discuss the disarmament process of Armenian separatists and the opening of the Zangezur corridor after the local anti-terrorist measures in Karabakh.
The heads of state are also expected to exchange views on other regional and bilateral issues.
