The Ukrainian army trapped and destroyed a convoy of Russian armoured vehicles near the village of Sinkovka, located 10 km from Kupyansk.

Axar.az informs that the Ukrainian press reported on this.

"The Russians fell into a trap. First, the main vehicle was hit by an anti-tank missile. Although the other part of the column wanted to continue the attack, they were also shot. Two vehicles fell into a mine and were destroyed," the report said.

The commander of the 2nd battalion of the 30th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army said that they planned this trap all day.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not provide information about the battle around Sinkovka. But Russian military bloggers sharply criticized the battle near the village and said that the command of the Russians showed bad tactics.
