Iran has never wanted war and will not seek it in the future.

Axar.az reports that Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said this in a meeting with media activists, while talking about the country's attitude to foreign threats and the importance of national solidarity.

"However, from the first days of the revolution, the enemies have been working for assassination, coup, and the division of the country. Some forces, based on incorrect analysis, assumed that Iran was in a weak position and hoped that in the event of a military attack, the people would take to the streets and the system would collapse," the Iranian president said.
