Russian President Vladimir Putin said that NATO forces entering Ukraine would be considered legitimate targets for the Russian military.

Axar.az informs he made the remarks during a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

“Potential foreign military contingents in Ukraine are one of the main reasons Ukraine is being drawn into NATO. Therefore, if any troops appear there, especially during ongoing combat operations, we consider them legitimate targets,” Putin said.
