On September 5, delegations of the two countries, led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mger Grigorian, paid mutual visits to the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.

Axar.az reports that in accordance with the agreements reached in Washington on August 8 of this year, the parties discussed issues related to the delimitation and demining of relevant areas/parts of the border line to synchronize activities in the field of establishing communications, as well as the restoration and construction of necessary infrastructure and their implementation deadlines.

The heads of the delegations exchanged views on organizing the next meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
