I visited the Chingiz Aitmatov House Museum in Kyrgyzstan. It was this brilliant writer who introduced the word ‘Mangurt’.

Axar.az informs Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan shared this on his Facebook page.

According to Chingiz Aitmatov’s novel "The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years", a ‘Mangurt’ is a captured person who has been forcibly turned into a soulless slave, fully obedient to their master, and who remembers nothing of their past life.
