Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will give testimony in his criminal trial today in the Tel Aviv District Court, after his testimony scheduled for yesterday was canceled due to the terror attack in Jerusalem in which six people were murdered by a pair of Palestinian terrorists.
Axar.az informs, citing Times of Israel, the hearing will be a closed-door session since it will deal with the issue of Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan’s efforts to secure a long-term US visa, allegedly with the help of Netanyahu. Hearings on this issue have, for the most part, been held behind closed doors due to diplomatic sensitivities surrounding the matter.
Netanyahu was indicted in 2019 on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust, all of which he denies. Hearings in his trial have been postponed a few times at Netanyahu’s requests citing security concerns due to Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.
