Israel carried out the operation against the leaders of the Hamas movement independently and assumed full responsibility for it.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"Today's operation against the top leadership of the Hamas terrorist organization was entirely an Israeli initiative. It was initiated by Israel, carried out by Israel, and for this Israel bears full responsibility," it was stated.

It should be noted that the name of Qatar, where Hamas leaders are believed to be located, is not mentioned once in the text.
