The helicopter carrying US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania was forced to make an unscheduled landing at London's Luton Airport.

Axar.az informs that the Independent newspaper reported this, citing the White House.

It was reported that the incident occurred when the Trumps were returning from the residence of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The helicopter carrying the American leader had a minor hydraulic problem. As a precautionary measure, it was decided to land the plane at Luton Airport.

There, Trump and his wife boarded a backup helicopter and headed for their destination, Stansted Airport.

It should be noted that US President Donald Trump was on a visit to the United Kingdom from September 16-18.
