Yemen seizes drone shipment bound for Houthis

Yemeni forces have intercepted a vessel near Aden carrying drone components and military gear allegedly smuggled from Iran to the Houthis rebels, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.

Axar.az reports that the seized cargo included surveillance equipment, high-precision cameras, electronic chips, communication devices, and carbon fibers used for drone manufacturing.

Three smugglers were arrested, and this marks the third foiled smuggling attempt in recent weeks.

The Iran-backed Houthis have repeatedly launched drone attacks on Israel and international shipping since the Gaza war began, claiming to support Palestinians.
