Rubio to join Paris meeting on Gaza power transition

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to attend a meeting in Paris tomorrow with the participation of European, Arab, and other countries to discuss the transition of power in Gaza.

Axar.az, citing The Times of Israel and three diplomatic sources, reports that the Paris meeting aims to discuss how U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed transition plan for Gaza will be implemented and to assess the collective commitments of the participating nations.

The meeting will take place in parallel with ongoing talks in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh city between Israel, Hamas, and mediators.

The U.S. Embassy in Paris has not yet commented on the matter.
