Georgian President visits Turkiye

Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili visited Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that the head of state was met at Istanbul Airport by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye.

M. Kavelashvili will watch today's match between the Georgian and Turkish football teams together with his children.

It should be noted that the match will take place within the framework of the European qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.
